For example, diff oil will heat up quicker if the car is driven at high speed.
How long would it take under those conditions ? I think sport Evo had temp gauges to measure diff temp and gearbox temp.
I have noticed oil temp takes roughly 15 minutes .... Though all the rev counter lights extinguish about 5 minutes earlier. On motorway never really reaches the middle. Will do with town driving if you start giving it some .... Presumably because less air flow.
Water temp takes about 5 minutes to get to right temperture.
In general I hear the warm up us very critical with these engines + regular oil changes .... So the way I warm it up is only rev to 3000 rpm till oil warmed up ....
Is there a specific warm down procedure with these engines ?
