I'm trying to piece together enough of the car to get an engine running, I've pulled the loom running around the engine bay months ago and only labelled the lights

Trying to figure out what goes where now. I have two red wires, one thick one coming from the fuse box and the other thinner one coming from the looming at the bulkhead.

Where do they need to go on the dummy terminal block?

I've been browsing some forums and see in some cars theres a thick wire running across the engine onto this block (like in the below images) where is this coming from and should I have it also?

I don't see that big thick one anywhere around my car  I have 3 wires on my starter all of them part of the engine loom.

The starter lead is part of your E30 engine loom, you need to remove it and fit it to your new engine

The large stud of the phantom terminal will have a large wire coming to it from the battery at the back of the car. There should be a large wire going from here to the outer terminal of the starter motor, which may be black or red, depending on where you sourced it. If it was from an E30, it will be black.
The large stud should also have a medium sized red wire connected to it which goes into the fusebox, and, if fitted, another medium sized red wire running to the ABS pump.
The smaller stud in the phantom terminal should also have a wire connected to it running from the back of the car and have a medium sized red wire connected to it going into the engine loom.

Anyone know what gauge the starter wire should be? I might be able to get something in the motor factors or halfrauds? What does it have crimped onto the end, ring crimps?
