I am going to change my rear brake pads next week. Is it worth fitting aftermarket braided brake lines? Is it a massive job?

If you're planning on bleeding the brakes then yes

Flexi hoses seem to be an MOT failure favourite over here - IIRC Goodridge braided hoses come with a lifetime warranty - one less thing to worry about 8)

Assuming that you have rear discs as you are swapping pads rather than shoes :D you will need the 6 line kit.The pair that go over the top of the axle carrier are the difficult one's as clearance is limited.I would suggest that you fit nice new spring clips at the same time, then you can damage the old one's to aid removal if nesessary.
