just did this a couple of weeks ago using the torx bolts and the advice from BMW torque specs pdf (can be found on web is)
torque 30 Nm
torque angle 90 °
torque angle 90 °
No settling time.
No warm-running time.

I agree with this, not what it says in the wiki. After the 30Nm angle torque, I always mark a line on the bolt heads at the 12 o'clock position with a permanent marker, so that when they have all been torqued through the remaining 180 degrees you can check visually that all the marks are at 6 o'clock, and be certain you haven't missed one.AlpineCab wrote:just did this a couple of weeks ago using the torx bolts and the advice from BMW torque specs pdf (can be found on web is)

Under M20, hex headed bolts, the wiki should read "remove, place in bin, and buy torx headed stretch bolts."

Be better,assuming the hex headed bolts are still in use,to ammend the wiki to read;
'Remove hex headed bolts one at a time and replace with new torx headed stretch bolts.Place old bolts in bin.'
This way,the head does not need to be removed,saving the gasket,need to skim,cambelt etc.
