Volvo 340 Steering guibo fit's E30

Alright guys, had a little bit of a dilemma with my steering guibo being extremely deteriorated. so i took the linkage off and checked the size between my mates spare 340 guibo and it fits with a slight modification. you just need to drill the center out by about 12mm. it offers some very good properties over the e30 guibo as it has a metal plate running to each of the bolt holes.

test drove it earlier and it feels fantastic, extremely responsive

ill try and get some. it's a tempory fit untill we van make a solid one. i'll get some pics this morning

but it 100% secure with bolts instead of rivets and fit perectly

BMW replacement is secured with bolts.
