So recently i have had a problem with the immobiliser cutting power to the fuel pump randomly which i have now cured.

The other problem i'm having is that every now and then and i mean very rarely when i turn the key to crank the engine nothing happens at all i just get ignition lights and thats it, leave it for 5 and try again and it fires over,

Anybody suffered this before or are we thinking it could be another alarm fault.

Thanks in advance

Again sounds like someone's tampered with the wiring. This time you're looking for a black/yellow wire from the ignition key to the starter motor. Have a read:

Probably another alarm fault.

Most of these immobilisors cut power to the fuel pump, the injectors and maybe spark and usually stop the starter motor energizing.

I had all these problems at random so pulled the alarm unit out! :?
