Took it to someone I know called Andy and let him get to work on the old girl. With a regular 'Sunday afternoon' type wash and wax, it looked great.Get direct sunlight or a lamp on it however and it revealed horror after horror no matter how "clean" I thought it was..

Not 100% sure on all the stuff he used, but I know there was a fair bit of 3M stuff knocking about. It was foamed, clayed, sprayed with various things, wiped, rinsed and buffed by hand and a machine. Then, just when I thought it looked great, it was moved outside to be rinsed and cleaned off again and then had more machine buffing and what not. :o

That is a lovely result.

I also like the 'water butt in use' sign - clever!

Two questions. Firstly where are you located, and then more importantly does he do this for a living?

I would be very interested in using his services at some point....

Awesome looking job.

The finish was superb! Looks like it took a long time too, seeing as the first pics started in day light, and then looks like it's dark when he finally finished! Very, very impressive.

My only question is, how do you keep the dust off it, now? :D

He was at it all day Gert! Was certainly a challenge! As for the dust, you don't keep it off -You just get annoyed and keep wiping it ;p (although it does come off rather well with a decent cloth due to all the wax etc)

As I mentioned, he is based near Rainham in Kent and his number is below if anyone was interested.

He's been at it again. This time a wet sand and wax on this boot..

Well worth selecting the 1080p and full screen options (even if you have to pause it, wait for it to load then come back and hit play). It loses so much at the lower resolutions.

brillant results !! well well worth £150, with the products cost and the time it would take yourself - its nothing to pay !

you should ask him for a run down of the process and post it up
