Probably get a better response if a mod moved this to the tech section.
318iS became MR2 Turbo became FTO GPX Mivec became Impreza became Rover 620Ti became Honda S2000 (current) became Fiesta 1.25 and 200SX Drift Slag (when the Honda has gone)

the cam belt tension can be checked by removing the rubbery cover from behind, a bit fidlly but a lot easier than stripping it apart again!!!!!

Hi

Thanks for the reply .
Sorry about putting it in that section!!
Never used any forums before??

I did find that cover took it out and checked the belt tension and it was fine!!!!

Anyway put the rubber cover back in and the nosie has gone???

But the fan belt and power steering belts where slack and did adjust them at the same time !!

Anyway all seems well now :D

Many Thanks
Great forum finding loads of info i was looking for
