I have just bought a T plate 318 touring. As with all old turds it has its good points :) and its bad ones :( The most pressing bad one is that it had a main dealer side put on it years ago and the outer sill is MIA . I have not taken the skirt off yet as I know it will not go back on too easily.

BMW do not appear to do a sill section on its own, it appears to come attached to B posts and other big bits. Any bodyshop / dealer types have an o/s outer sill up their back passage ? or have a heads up on a new pattern one ?
Obviously the car is just a sh1tter and the skirt will hide lots of my handiwork but I figure what I spend on a sill I will save on time fabricating and f00king about.

It goes without saying, the turd has 11 months ticket !

+1. B&Q expanding foam and 'structural' P38 for the win.
