Clutch Slave cylinder removal issues

Spend today fitting a new sump and clutch master cylinder to the 325i however when i went to fit the slave i couldnt get the nut of and to cut a story short rounded it off would leave it on but thats the fooked bit not the master

i have two options i'am thinking to get the car finished tomorrow.

1. grind the old clutch slave cylinder off around the nut and but the pipe onto the other one, should tighten up fine.

2. cut the rubber pipe and with a jubilee clip put a new screw thread end on (as i have the pipe for the master cylinder in my garage from manual conversion which i can use) - will this work fine ???

How about a new flexi pipe

Are you on about the nut that the feed pipe bolts onto the slave or one of the 2 bolts that hold the slave to the gearbox?

the nut on the pipe, going to grind the slave off round the nut and see where i get
