water pump on high comp/low comp engine

okay im basically doing a swap, on the wiki it says its essential to find the correct water pump for the engine,

i have a block out of a 86 325, the head however is an 885 if that matters,

im attempting to convert the cooling system to facelift with the single outlet water pump and new pipes etc as i allready have the rad for the m20 facelift,

will it matter if i change it?

Won't matter, did the same to my high comp engine.
