Can anyone help me?

ive got an 88 316 with 1766cc carb m10 engine,and have been
told to fit webber twin 45's for more power. How easy is this and
how much do they cost, where can i get them.


Any advice much apprieciated

Ebay is probably your best bet for carbs mate.

I wouldn't stick 45's on a stock engine, you'd be be better off with a pair of 40's

To make it all work you'll need an electric fuel pump, throttle cable linkages, intake manifolds, the correct jets and a proper rolling road setup. You'll probably need to upgrade the ignition system too.

For the parts get in touch with a company called jaymic who specialise in m10's or keep a close eye out on ebay or on the for sale section here.

Are you planning to do anything else with the engine?
