m20b25 rebuild cost

how much would it cost to completely rebuild the head and bottom end of a m20b25 engine and anyone know any recommended companies?

Id be interested in the info too as i have three m20s waiting to go in my turbo and want to rebuild one

mines knocking very loudly from the bottom end after smashing my sump lol!

i have already swapped the sump but it is knocking since fixing it

New engine would be loads cheaper than rebuilding the whole thing... Just get one from a good know runner and switch it over yourself.

At least £1500,but better to budget for £2500.

i think i spent about 3 k on my first rebuilt
but that was with non standard cam, head work ,uprated bearings etc

I like the m20 but wouldn't spend 3-4k on one.
Instead of messing about just buy a good one from a known seller
