It's the dreaded 320i,further burdened with an autobox. If it's really as nice as is claimed, and check out the driver's seat wear,£1500/£2000.Sell on the hardtop for about £700,and the thing stands you at £800/£1300.....

Youth is wasted on the young.
Please note, Genuine BMW Hardtop shown in picture 9, is NOT included in the sale, but can be bid upon, as it is for sale seperately (please see sellers other items)daimlerman wrote:It's the dreaded 320i,further burdened with an autobox. If it's really as nice as is claimed, and check out the driver's seat wear,£1500/£2000.Sell on the hardtop for about £700,and the thing stands you at £800/£1300.....

Drivers seat does not look ripped, maybe needs leather feed?
320i automatic is an ideal ladies car, looks like it's been well looked after, with all the original equipment still present.
Seller say's hardtop and spare set of wheels are NOT included, he's got them listed seperately.
325i, have mostly been abused / modded /thrashed, i'd take a well looked after / restored 320 over a thrashed and abused 325 any day..

Seller has uploaded reply's to questions about what wheels will be sold with the car.
Details of the service history, which to me looks pretty comprehensive, and a picture of the dashboard, with the check panel, and the engine running, plus the original drivers electric roof operating instructions, still fitted to the drivers sun visor.
Dash does not look cracked, no check panel lights are lit, car looks to be ticking over at 750-800 rpm, with no warning lights lit.
Given the sellers description of the condition, plus the comprehensive service history, what's it worth..?

Based on my experience of the convertible market this year, surprisingly little.Das_BMW_E30 wrote:........

^^^^^^^^^^^ I have to agree with Boyd on this one, cabby's dont seem to be shifting at the moment, probably down to a bloody miserable summer. Most of the 3K+ cars on piston heads \ ebay havn't sold.

Think I'd agree too, the classic/special interest car market is absolutely dead at the moment, with nobody committing to anything new. Oddly the spares market often picks up during these times, with make do and mend.
Ive a friend who runs a modern classic car showroom, and they havn't seen any customers for weeks now.
If you are brave, then this is a good time to pick up a bargain, like the one in this post. The only thing that puts me off is the respray, and absolutely no-rust statement, needs checking out.

There is at least one person still looking for a late 325i cab!
I've dismissed most of the higher priced cars just from their ads and I think the 320 above ^^^ is massively overpriced for a car with no history for 18 years!!
Ideally I'm after a sensibly priced grey Motorsport cab with rear headrests.

i think the convertibles will sky rocket in price in the next 10years, it always happens there cheap so people buy them and trash them. eventually they'll become rare and sort after, and that's when you'll have to start digging deep for a good one
