Escort van tuning help

Does anyone know tips on how to get a few more ponys out of a mk6/ 2001 escort td van ??? Mine seems slow as fook its my daily and the bm is off road

they are slow as fook unless you drop a turbo lump in them, dont waste you money

It is a turbo lol 70hp td without intercooler or upraded fuel pump ,i hear these are on the mondeo mk1/2 but it seem alot of agg for a little bit more power :/ trying to find an eco engine conversion but no luck

My Combo van has the 65 horse DI 'low blow' turbo donk. How in the name of foook did they manage to get only 65 bhp out of a 16 valve 1.7 turbo diesel

Every time I get passed by a DTI with the intercooled 75bhp bad boy mill , I get a semi !

Jeepers n i though i had it bad Pretty shite engineering if you aske me lol, my pal has a 2L astra van non intercooled unsure on dt/dti but even in limp mode the thing lets off and leaves me standing lol

I want it quicker but want to keep the diesel as cheap "white" fuel comes up quite often
