Omg I'm in need of some help very quick. The show is on Sunday at the BMW Heritage museum in gaydon and my fan blades have seemed to have wedged it self againts the radiator. I have replaced the viscous coupling 2 years ago with a eurocarparts version ,could this be dodgy. I have replaced the blades yesterday making sure they went on correctly and again they got stuck and damaged the new blades. What the hells going on. I have now ordered a news viscous coupling and fan blades today . So I will get them tomorrow hoping that I had a doggy viscous . It's like the fan blades are wedged againt the radiator . I have checked the engine mounts and they seem fine .Has anyone ever come across this problem before . Any ideas ? Really want this car on display this year .

Try waggling the blades from side to side, to check for excess play in the water pump.

What a fantastic day at the BMW show today . Only a few e30's this year . I have had a look on another e30 and it seems like I have been given the wrong fan . Euro car parts suck !
