Need to replace upper hose (resovoir to master cyl.) Old hose corroded (battery crud) but am unable to source replacement. ecp, abbey hose etc dont stock. Will i have to order from bmw (ouch!) and is it a pita to change? (had a grope under the dash (now, now) but couldn't trace it. I suppose i could splice out the damage using a connector? Car '90 318is. any help much appreciated.

They are buggers to get hold of. I had to buy mine from bmw. Its easy to change. The cylinder is easiest to get at from the footwell.

1.drain reservoir
2. Disconnect pipe from reservoir
3.remove under cover from drivers side.
4.Remove pushrod pivot nut and bolt from pedal arm.
5. Remove two securing bolts and withdraw cylinder from pedal bracket
6.Pull through and change hose.
