one power window not working problem

ok so its a not day and i drop all the windows on my touring with the center console switches when we get to where we are going the passenger rear window wont go up so i try it on the door switch and up it goes then like a dope i try it down and it goes half way and stops then nothing on any switches (never heard the end of it from the wife)
i got the window up by taking power from the green-blue wire on the back of the door switch to the unpluged motor wire and another to earth and the window went up
so theres power at the rear door switch
and the window motor works
after some looking i find that power is going to the motor but the power is not getting to earth

with a short to earth on the black wire and with the door switch removed i made a jumper wire on the back of the switch plug i jumped the green-blue wire to blue and the motor works

any body got any ideas were on the car to look next
