Looks a good, honest car - absolutely identical (apart from the LPG kit that I added after a few years of ownership) to the red touring in my sig., which served me and my wife as a daily driver for around sixteen years and well over 100,000 miles.

Only about three times a year for that very expensive petrol stuff, though. Only close to 'failure to proceed' in all that time was when the fuel pump commutator wore completely away after 200,000 miles or so (still went on gas), a cracked head, which I replaced after a month or two of constant topping up, and a failed hose at the back of the cylinder head which I was alerted to before damage was done, by the coolant level light.Barx325i wrote:You must have had to stop for fuel at some stage surely?
