Hello, quick question.

What flywheel bolts should be used when using an m20 flywheel on an m52.

The engine is from an automatic, and an e30 spigot bearing has already been put into the engine. Is there anything else to do or does the flywheel literally just bolt up?

Cheers

I had the same issue, make sure the round ring that sits between the bolts and the flywheel is from a MANUAL m20 engine it's like a Big washer plate with bolt holes , the auto one is much thicker and will only allow a few threads of the bolt to hold

I'm a bit confused...do you have any pictures of what you are talking about?

Oh ok, i see...

Does that bit just go in between the outer face of the flywheel, and the bolt?

I'm sure my m42 didn't have one of these on it... Is it just a 6 pot thing?

Alright thanks for that, I wouldn't have known to do that.

Is there anything else to be aware of with regards to fitting manual flywheel on to the auto m52?

Cheers

Check that the bore of the spigot bearing you have fitted matches the diameter of the gearbox input shaft,

Yep, the spigot bearing is 12mm and so is the input shaft on the box.
