Thishas been gradually getting worse for the last few months.
When I go from 2nd into 3rd it almost always goes into 5th instead.
I can feel the gate? between 3rd and 5th feels wierd,almost non existant.
Is this an easy fix as in a ballbearing/spring type affair thats DIYable or is this signs the box is on its way out?
I do have a good spare box I could fit but would rather save the hassle to be honest.
M52 gearbox 3rd/5th gate?

get it up in the air mate and have someone in the car doing the gears and someone feeling the linkage and see if there is any play at the gearbox, easy things frist
