I hear of a lot of people using US M3 cams on M52's but is there an alternative? Ie Schrick (and the likes) Will any certain Alpina cams fit?
How do they all compare? regarding power, moving power band up etc....
TIA

Schrick cams are £900 odd, you can pick up a pair of S52 cams for £300 -£400, Alpina cams are rare and hard to find

with cams there are no part numbers on them i think. so you wont know if your buying S52 cams or just M52 ones. there is a cam shop near me so going to get a price for new S52 spec cams. yet you all know what price i get. and going by wiki only 2,200 S52 eninges were made in north america

The cheapest alternative I've found to US spec cams are Cat Cams for £600.
The others are Schrick ~ £800 and Dbilas ~ £920.

I reckon they will sell quite well over there.
*cough* discount for the good idea?

popped into the cam shop today. they said got the blanks but got to ring back tuesday for a price .
Question are the M50 cam's the same as M52's? as the shop only had M50 on there machine ?
Does M52 just mean its the a ally block version of the M50 ?

Will those cams fit an m52 or an m50? I'm confused as I have heard they can't fit both.
1987 cab + M52B28 + 237bhp = smile machine
