@Sweep , If you want an average car and not bothered about classification there is a reasonably good Brilliant red Sport for sale in Birmingham. I had the car inspected and it only had a few things that needed doing to get it up to reasonable condition.The owner did a mobile phone HPI check and it came back clear when he bought the car. I did the gold check and it came back as an insurance write off in 1992. The vehicle inspector reckons he could not spot any accident damage and the engine, VIN and bulk head numbers were original. The car needs 1 jacking point rebuilding and some work on the break and ABS sensors. as it is brilliant red it suffers from some UV fade but the chassis and running gear were in good condition. Last I heard we wanted £ 2900, and in much better condition than any of the above cars.I can mail you the inspection, Hpi and background check if you are interested.

Thank-you CSL .... I picked up a stock standard diamond black 2 owner sport on Friday afternoon Mate .. it still has the original stereo , speakers and paint !! It's not perfect but it's exactly what I wanted .. I'm getting her out for the first time @ Jim's Midlands bash this weekend.

Thanks B7 , Is there an ongoing post where we can put info in on cars we have been to look at and decided not to buy ? Not something to slag the owners off but something constructive that we could all update as and when we see a car. Condition , price , thoughts and any history we have come across.
