What are the diff options and what models do they come off? Looking for a higher ratio for low rpm cruising.

Which diff ratio for the M50 with 1:1 5th?

With a 1:1 5th, you need something like a 3.25 from an E30 M3.
If it aint broke - Modify it...

2.93 from a E28 525e gives the equivalent of 3.62 on the E30 box. About right in my experience.
