I have a coolant leak from the forn of the engine in my 318is - I guess its the water pump. My Bently manual doesn't cover the 318is engine so does anyone have any experience of changing the pump on a 318is? Is it easy or difficult - what is the basic procedure? Cheers Robin

Hi easy job. take fan blade & belts off, take four securing nuts of water pump, get two long 10mm bolts &screw them into the 2 prodruding lugs on the watr pump evenly, this will pull the water pump out of the front casing. put a little oil around the rubber seal on the new pump makes it easy to push in place.
