Was wondering if people could show me their dtm back boxes before I buy one. Never seen one on an unkitted car before. Also how do they sound? Want something with a good rip to it.

I had a DTM powerflow on my cab when i bought it. Needless to say it was the first thing to go. It was way way to loud to the point it was just a constant drone all the time.

Others have said the scorpion ones are better. Personally I would go for a custom stainless from RMS in pretwick. Its miles from you but one of the best places in scotland and comparable in price to the off the shelf stuff.

Looks ok other than hanging low. How many straps has it got holding it up?

All the straps are there bar one, it also needs pushed along the pipe a bit so it sits better. i just fucking hate it, looks gimpy, sounds good but. Basically ideally id love to trade it for a DTM one if anyone has one and wants a stock looking one

Also the hole for it has been cut too big, so it just looks balls.

Yeah I'm not a super-fan of them but I do have a full Scorpion system and I love the sound of it. Le Man's tips look better but they have a different sound. IMO a DTM would look shite on a non-kitted car though.

Here's mine...

It was a generalised pop at 17 year olds in 1L corsa's that attach an exhaust system and sub woofer that costs more than the car but in general all corsa drivers are delinquent's :P

My non kitted e30 came with dtm tailpipes that i'm not keen on even after a bit of modding so that the pipes don't stick out i still don't like so the tail pipes are gonna get chopped off and something else welded in place which much easier than replacing a good back box.

Il swap you for mine? It looks stock but is SS and sounds good too. quiet and burbly at low RPM sings and wails halfway round the gauge

Why don't you just have your tailpipes replaced, less agro than replacing the back box ? then have your zuast put on properly :)

Because then i have to find and buy tips and get them welded on. easier just to slip one off and put the other on.

Just go to somewhere that fabricates custom systems and ask the question if thats no good then revert to plan A.
