been looking at buying some of their "gunsmoke tint" film to give my headlights & front fog lights & indicators that smoked look the easy way.

but what i would like to know is whats it like to use? easy or a PITA??

I was thinking about this but trying a DIY hydrographic/water transfer printing - float a film of 'X' on water & dunk the object.



no experience of lamin-x though, but thought I'd share the idea

i used lamin x on my headlights wish i had gone for gunsmoke instead of subtle tint. Very easy to use, the film is thick so can be stretched and protects the headlight too.
Tools needed- scissors, top up/credit card and borrow a hair dryer. (i also wrapped my headlights rings in black insulation tape looks better then if you were to paint it)

I hear the gunsmoke makes it almost impossible to see if you use it on the headlights. May be worth looking into upgrading bulbs if this is the case.

I was planning to get the clear film for mine to help protect the lights - especially after I had mine attacked with a baseball bat one evening.

well I suppose you could allways use 75 - 100w bulbs
