I was waved at by a driver of a silver sport in Lowestoft over the weekend, only polite to wave back.

Hey man, it's all about the hydrocarbons !
Jeez Fuzzy, you've lost the plot, next thing you will be cycling to work !
Wherever possible
Occasionally you find a lay person/non enthusiast in an E30 who has probably had it for the last 20 years and doesn't care. You'll be flashing/waving away and they'll look back at you as though you have some kind of learning difficulty.

I had a similar debacle when I jacked up my first E30!
The E30 jack seems to be artfully designed to press itself into the door panel as you jack up the car, leaving a dent.

The jack shaped dent in the door was the least of the Riley owners problems !

I wave. My first car and it's nice to think you're part of something. Most E30 drivers probably don't care but wave back to be polite.
yes i to am a waver
had a nice run in on the petrol forecourt yesterday with a motorsport convertible, the paint job was slightly odd (metallic pearl flip thing) originally paris blue i think from the engine bay, but looked a nice one

Care to expand on this? It certainly sounds like an amusing debacle...pacerpete wrote:Speedtouch wrote:I had a similar debacle when I jacked up my first E30!
