hey guys just bought me an 89 touring with the m30 conversion
Now it has a slight issue, i think the rear beam and or diff bushes have gone while cruising at slow speed (20-30 mph) the car has a jurk like your pumping the accelerator (kangeroo petrol) and the only way to cure it is to power out or dip the clutch. Any ideas?

Mine does that but I know it's over-fueling!! Same symptoms and likewise it would kangeroo unless I depress clutch or accelerator or let off gas completely...

Mines been on the dyno, that's how I know it's overfuelling!!! Do you have all the printouts from the dyno runs (not just the power output sheet)?
Someone with far more tech knowledge will be along shortly and advise on the fueling if needed

Kangarooing is quite a common problem on M20 and M30 engines. Check the spark plugs and inside of exhaust tailpipes for excess soot which indicates mixture too rich.
Also check the TPS and clean out the idle control valve.
It will also be worth checking that the propshaft-to-diff flange bolts are tight.

the car is far from standard! intake wise it has a twinbore throttle body off a mustang, but will still check the TPS and ICV are clean and working

You will not find what you are looking for ! You might find two mustang throttle bodies though , and lots more non factory parts.
Welcome to the world of modified cars and the joys of guessing what parts have been used and what is fooked. Assuming it ever ran properly in the first place........

But on the plus side, if you get it running properly, this touring is/was quite a weapon

it is Andy335tourings old car

i managed to fix the problem, Its not the standard 3 switch TPS its a fully vairiable pot type, turns out it was loose and was moving around. I took it off cleaned then bolted it back on probably not quite in exactly the right place but has cured the kangaroo problem and has smothed out the idle so im happy!
