Hi guys, I'm retro fitting electric rear windows in my Touring and for some reason, the motors are not working. There is power coming to the loom, as the central locking is working, and the switches light up. I bought the motors and the rest of the bits from another zoned who I know well and trust, so I don't think that is the problem.

Any thoughts? :D

Central locking power has absolutely nothing to do with the window motors!
Both the switches in the centre console and the rear door card have to be fitted and working, as well as the isolator mentioned above.

What I meant was that given there is one connector for the central locking and electric window looms once its come through the door pillar, if it wasn't connected properly or was damaged then nothing would work.

So am I right in thinking that there is a separate isolator switch for the front and the rear windows?

Right ok, I see. So I need the small square one as well as the rectangular one that was fitted for the fronts originally?

Only the switches on the rear door cards are provided with an isolator. This is a square push button switch on the centre console, in front of the LH window switches, and to the left of the resettable overload cut out for all the windows

Right just so I've got this clear in my head, I need a small square isolator switch for the rear windows, as well as the rectangular one that's already fitted for the fronts?

Not sure you actually need it. Just joining the connectors together should work?
