What would be best for long lasting effect vinyl wrap or a respray, paint does get chipped and if a pannel needs spraying hard to match, wrap more flexable so should not stone chip so easy, anyone help.

A proper spray job, whilst more susceptable to stone chips will out last the fad of vinyl wrapping in my opinion. Vinyl is going to look piss poor over time and would be hard to match in a few years if you had to replace a panel/repair damage. Either method will require the body being prepped, rust removal etc.
