did this little wile back when i changed the elements, its a bit hazy...... its not that hard mainly fiddly and be careful to not break the tabs,
you need a 17mil socket iirc and remove the seatbelt bolt should be one on other side remove this, i think a bar comes out, then remove the runners at the front theres a bolt type thingy get some pliers and squeeze the two little tabs you see and push it out, the runners should come off easy,
from there i think its pretty straightforward just bend tabs back and remove the fabric, the base cover will come off exposing the side bolsters to remove,
im not sure how the thigh extension comes out though, didnt remove that,

I've done this many times and it's a hateful job! Nasty sharp hog rings keep the foam base attached to the seat frame and over-sized staples keep the cloth attached to the foam. I cheated when I put my seats back together, the hog rings were replaced with copper wire and the staples replaced with velcro!

If youre looking to replace the side bolsters on the base you'll need to seperate the backrest from the base and take the reclining mechs off.
Take off all the trims - backrest backing, hinge covers, etc.
Back rest is just a screw (splined or phillips) either side once the back trim is removed, unclip the wires for the tilt first. the two parts should seperate now..
Take of circlips for hinges and prise out the centre pin with a screwdriver, can't remeber what holds the hinge to the base but once undone the hinge mechs should come off now.
Headrests are held on with circlips. The rest is a case of undoing the wire clips and bending back tabs.

A spring loaded short lever holds the hinge mechs. in place. Push it back, rotate the whole mechanism, and lift it off.suedenim wrote: can't remeber what holds the hinge to the base but once undone the hinge mechs should come off now.

Headrests pull out with a sharp tug.

That's a sport seat stripped to it's underpants,so it can be done at home!
Tricky part is the hinge, you push a thingumy in and turn it to release.

If someone wants to donate a crap old sport seat to me, I can do a photo guide of how its done. Its easy enough once you know how... But its also easy to get annoyed, bend parts in temper, then throw it all in the weighbridge pile...
