im getting a bit fed up of changing top suspension mounts (3 pairs in a year)so im binning the far too hard spax kit. im going to keep the spax lowering springs and im wondering if the standard bilsein shocks that you get from ecp will be up to the job. i still want the car to handle quite well around the bends but it also has to be a compromise for comfort as well as we have a new family member due in the summer... and does anyone know where i can get a black leather baby seat?

Another option would be to fit rear top mounts from a E46 cabriolet - they are a lot stronger than standard E30 ones.

Spax springs will not match Bilstien standard shocks well.
Your better off going for a good suspension kit like Boge/Sachs or H&R35mm with Mtec shocks.
Get yourself some Cabriolet rear top mounts aswell.

After looking for ages I bought Bilstiens and H+R springs for my M3 and I cannot tell you how great they are. It handles like its on rails and there even less body roll. All this for 425 quid from Motorsportworld.co.uk (or .com)
Sits a little lower although I didnt want it too low but Im chuffed to bits with the results

Or just buy a H&R Cup Kit which is even less money and performs and rides better.
