Hi Im currently in the middle of replacing the coolant and air hoses on my 318is as they had perished, while searching for a guide i found that the complicated maze of hoses originally there can be simplified along with the removal of the throttle body heater.

Just wondering if anyone has done this? as the thread i found http://www.m42club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2742 is a little un clear as to what connects to the medium sized nipple on the side of the throttle body, it mentions a charcoal filter but as far as i can see my car doesnt have one.

Thanks Dave :)
