I have changed timing belt / water pump / Belt tensioner wheel yesterday and considers itself it is vented. There is of course filled coolant / water, started up, stood idle at full heat and any fan of 4 etc, refilled with coolant. - Have also tried to open the vent screw located on the thermostat housing (I think it's called?) comes just coolant out.
immediately after it was started up and refilled, there were no problems with temperature even though it stood idle for 20 minutes.
But here in the morning I went for a drive so the engine was running conditioned. I got home I let it stand idle While I was doing something else, suddenly went very low at idle (almost by going out) and then I looked at tmep meter, and it was almost up at the red box, then turned it off and you could hear the coolant bubbling / boiling a little .... (standing idle 15-20 min)
later today I had to Copenhagen(20 km), the temperature is exactly in the middle, but when I start to get to downtown, and I have run a little queue, etc, so it stands a little above the middle (okay `?) and sometimes on the next line after the middle, if I turn the heat on full power and at 4, so after 5-7 min it falls to slightly below normal temp, but there's also a HOT inside the car ... ... on the way home , there were no problems with speeds around 50-70 km / h, also tried highway that stands it also in the middle
- Home again, let it stand idle for 5 min, and then began to go up on the dash that comes after it in the middle of the temperature sensor, and it's getting too hot then?
could be because it's vented is not done correctly? it may be my mill / viscous coupling, or something else??? how can I check if something is not as it should be

Hope you can Localized help, I will be very grateful for it :)

it is my bmw e30 320i, 8 months 1987

Good chance it is your viscous fan.
This may help.....

What you call "venting" is known as "bleeding" in English, so that will help you in your search.

The M20 engine that you have is famous for being difficult to bleed; I expect you still have some air pockets in the engine. Don't change your viscous fan clutch just yet, if there was no problem before you changed the timing belt.

Okay, thanks,
Okay, I will just try to see if it has broken down, follow it as is in the "wiki"

okay thanks, I will just try to get hold of someone who has a little more sense of it than I have that right can look at my car, but try to check the things

Sounds very much like the viscous fan coupling. When the temperature gauge is well above where it should be, rev the engine. The fan should make a noise like a small aircraft taking off.
If it doesn't the fan coupling is faulty, or (much less likely) there is a partial blockage in the middle of the radiator core, or some other problem severely limiting the water flow.

I have ordered a new viscous coupling with a bmw dealer, I would love to get it tomorrow.
I borrowed a new (used) from someone I knew, immediately helped it did not, although it has been hanging on a wall, and not lying down. When I came home from Lyngby (17km) and it stood idle for 5 minutes, so was the temperature gauge up on the line after the middle .. immediately after I turned it off, I tried just grabbing the mill, there is no resistance in it, and from what I understand there should be some resistance to it, when the engine is hot. Did not think it runs particularly fast around, almost like when the engine is cold

I hope it solves the problem

just put the new one on, and now it works! When the engine gets hot, you can hear it said that a vacuum cleaner, especially if you give it a little throttle. it does not become too hot more

BUT it sounds like it's running constantly now, even if I drive on highway?? hmm,
can tell that the temperature gauge always stands a little below normal

is that right? or should it run for a long trip before it works correctly?

New ones often need a few miles to 'loosen' up.
