Production year of the engine is 1987,my car is 1988,and I have seen the beginig of my trouble already...the pin conector located by the fuse box under the hood is round, while the cable that goes from the engine is not round, but rectangle shaped...(sorry for the poor english, haven`t wrote in english for some wild... )
how to conect the two togeder,I have to have the car done by the end of the sunday, since it`s my daily driver....

Some wiring sheme whould help alot 8)

Hang on mate! Don't know where you are, but your first post was at 12.15am UK time, and your second at 7.36am UK time. Most of us sleep between these times!
I have the pin connections for the round connector in the car, but I'm afraid I don't have the connections for the older rectangular connector on your engine loom.
If you match up same coloured wires you won't be far wrong though.

Right, found an old Haynes manual I'd forgotten I had, and that gives a wiring diagram for some 3 series with the old connector.
Treat these as suggestions, no gosple truth:
Old pin 1/ brown/green = oil pressure = new brown/green, pin 5
Old pin 13/ brown/white = water temp = new brown/purple, pin 4
Old pin 3/ green/black = fuel pump - new green/purple, pin 13
Old pin 6/ green/purple = fused ignition? = new green/white, pin 6?
Old pin 8/ green = ignition = new green, pin 7
Old pin 3/ blue = ignition warning = new blue, pin 1
Old pin 10/ black = starter signal = new black/yellow, pin 18
Old pin 15/ black = tacho signal = new black, pin 9, but this might not be a suitable signal for the later tacho.
Hope all this makes some kind of sense, and helps.
