okay guys so i've done the m52 conversion and have left the viscous fan on as well as fitting an electric rad.
has anyone else left their viscous fan in place even though there is very little clearance, or should i remove it incase it eats the rad,
is it overkill to have both the viscous and electric fan?

unless you have solid engine mounts take it off, it WILL eat your rad when braking hard.

hmmm some good information here, as for clearance mine is quite close probably around 3cm or so, i havent checked accurately just a rough guesstimate.
i'd rather employ both the electric and the viscous like willnz has just to be absoloutely foolproof, this talk of diesel fans being slimmer sounds good anyone got a pic of one?

Didn't know there was this option lol. Would be handy to have the 2 wouldn't it, can't see this causing much paralistic drag on the engine as mentioned above either
