Hi, basically I have bought an e30 316 And thinking about a 3.2 conversion from the e36 m3 evo, if I was to buy one what could I swap over? All of it? Subframes suspension etc etc?

It's a big job, time & money will be required, the custom manifold is £1000 on it's own. The 316 is also not a great base model to start with everything will need upgrading.

Really? So you bought an E36 M3, pulled the engine out and dropped it into an E30 and all in a day or so. Impressive. Any pics?Stancesdrift wrote:Yea dropped it in last night...

Tundra Green was only available on the Clubman until late '75. I think it's earlier than '77.Andyboy wrote:Aaah, a '77 clubman 1100.HairyScreech wrote:In my experience this:

Thanks i will have a look,
The mini is an original mini, bought it cheap and have stripped it down to bare shell rebuild engine poly bushes pretty much everything is new or refurbed, just gotta laquer it and put the sports kit on it and it's gone.. Brothers a mechanic so that really helps..
I like tinkering and modifying cars.
Saw this e30 as a fun project can't really do that sort of stuff to my other road going car, focus st-3 iv stripped
It out put a pair of bride bucket seats and takata harness's, one off single
Exit turbo back exhaust with custom rear diffuser, evo inter cooler, kw3 coilivers and adjustable top mounts, and a few other little touches...
I'm in no rush to do this e30 slow and steady weekend jobbie with the mates, that's why I was thinkin if I bought an e36 m3 evo could
In just swap everything over, suspension, engine subframes, even interior. So once I get the car to mine I'll get some photos up and start a thread
