Hey fellas,
Is there anyway of improving the look of the chrome windscreen trim? Mine is all tarnished and polishing it does nothing... were they originally chromed?

What have you guys done to improve yours?

Get a new one? It's made of plastic not metal so afaik you can't polish it.

I got a new one from the dealer a couple of years ago. It's surprising how much better it looks with a shiny new one.

They are not cheap for what they are and a real bastard to insert. I think I paid about £30 but cannot remember.

I paid around £60 2 years ago or so... Contact your dealer and ask. You can also get a tool to insert the new one but I didnt, it takes alot of time and is a pain, but well worth it.

I can't remember tbh, it was in the region of £40-60, but that was a few years ago. I recommend getting the tool to fit it too, mine cost me about £12 but the time is saved makes it worth it even if you only use it once.
