Hi guys I've got a m52 with m20 gearbox and diff, it's seems to always b revving high and it's all bottom end. I'm not currently running a limited slip and am thinking of changing it so was just wondering what diff to get that is obviously limited slip and also might gear it up a bit.
What sort of mpg are u guys getting I'm round 225 to a tank it doesn't seem a lot
Thanks guys dan

325i diffs are as dan said 3.64 and 3.91

for a LSD your looking at 200-300
normal diffs are about 100ish or cheaper

Id check what diff ratio you already have first, if you say the diff is from a 325i you may already have a 3.64.

More likely to be a 3.91 if its facelift and revs as much as you say

Ive had two facelift 325i's that had 3.64's but they were both 88 models, i think 3.91 was a later thing.

What speed are you getting at 3k? if its 75mph you have 3.64, if its 70mph its a 3.91.

Yeah it's a 88 model and it's 75mph at 3k so guessing its a 3.64 is that about right seems very loud wen I'm driving round
