Seen a fair few more e30's over here over the last 5 days than I expected. All of them have looked very tidy. There's a glacier blue moredoor 325 turbo just down the road from our hotel too.

My cab spent all it's life in Jersey until I bought it a year or so ago. Despite what everyone said about salt in the air and only short journeys, she's turned out to be very tidy underneath and very reliable too.

You sure there is? 17" gash rims perchance?

I have always thought Jersey e30's seem to be in far better condition than UK ones. Probably because we don't salt the roads over here.

over here.
Yeah it was on some council 17's.

Sure i could see an intercooler poking out the front.

This missus was leaning out the hotel window having a fag when the geezer gunned it up St Saviuour's road and she said she heard a whistle and a pshttttt sound come from it.

There was a sterling silver M3 parked round the back of the hotel too at the bottom of Pleasant Street. That didn't move the whole time we were there.

Saw an old girl driving a mint calypso red 2dr 4 pot of some variety, a couple of tourings and a few others too. All seemed in nice nick.

Saw quite a few Mini's which all looked in exceptional condition.

I don't see how anyone can have a fast car out there though as there just seems to be no opportunity to give anything a razz, even out in the sticks around Trinity and St John's etc there's nowhere to get any speed up and there's crazy blind junctions just waiting for some bumpkin to stick their nose out into your path.

We had a nightmare getting back to St Helier on Friday night after some kid had rolled his car in St Aubins, was trying to get from St Aubins to St Helier when plod closed the road off through the bay near the harbour and I didn't know how far along St Aubins they had prevented traffic from entering.

Beautiful place though

Unless something's changed it's just some bruvved up 320i.

Aye that m3 is rhd. Woman owns it and bought it for £2k years back when they were worthless. Now completely rotten with a rugby ball sized hole in the scuttle. Was offered £8k in cash by someone I know but turned him down, and multiple other offers, she thinks it's worth a fortune. Shame as its just rotting beyond the point of saving. Only has 60k on it too.

I know the calypso you are on about. Been trying to find where she lives so I can make an offer on it! Mint and rust free bar a couple of car park scratches.

You can get some serious pace up over here, you just need to know the place! You do get a lot of heart stoppers from people edging out though.

I saw the car that was in the accident at DVS. Nasty is an understatement!

Holy thread revival!

You were right Lee, it does have a turbo. Wasn't the one I was thinking about. Had a quick chat to him about it once
