wheel choice is personal and whatever rocks your boat. Lots on here hate alpinas and as many again love em. Im not a fan only because there are so many other wheels which are nicer and less common. Choose a size first, I'd say 15" or 16" for best ride / comfortable ride. I can't rember what 14" were like .

So E30 M3/E28 fit then. You can get similarly nice BBS in regular E30 flavour though I think..
