Really?! I'd say it was worthless unless your first/last name is JIAA and you have a law degree .

Mind you, I know nothing about vanity plates, so perhaps worth a valuation.

Thanks all, not planning on doing anything for a couple of months but theres a few bits to sort. Three or four small paint chips need looking at. The fog lamps and the electric mirrors dont seem to be working and the lcd screen on the computer has bled (can this be fixed?)msport gear knob lights up red tho which was a nice unexpected surprise. Eventually want to lower it and get it sitting nice then get some nice alloys maybe Alpina reps. Heres a few more piccys..... ImageImageImageImageImageImage

Nooo, not the dreaded alpina reps!
Or if you do, keep the BBS in the garage ;)

Lovely looking car, Glacier Blue looks fantastic.

The reps are not often liked by the cartel on here. :)

Far better wheel choices out there anyway.

Looks like a well looked after car that! 8)

If the LCD screen has bled on the computer you'll need to replace the whole unit, will be able to pick one up from here easily enough and won't be too expensive since you only need the unit itself.

My only gripe with the alpina reps are the bloody weight of them, very heavy wheels. Almost twice the weight of the original bbs set. I took mine off as they made the car slower off the line, they tramlined horribly and even made the rear drive shafts and diff clunk when the autobox geared down.!! Bad all round... E30's were not designed for 17" heavier wheels simple as.

The 16" Alpina reps are reckoned to be decent wheels, sadly they cost a lot more than the very common 17" BK Alpina reps which are heavy, made of cheese and need the correct spacers to prevent vibration.

My cabby has had Alpina reps since I bought it over 6 years ago, never had any problems with them. Limited mileage, I've changed the tyres once.
I DID try a set of 15" BBS for the Zone roam in 2009 and she handled quite nicely on them tho ;)

I'll lower it first -40 then see how it looks on the originals before deciding. My mate owns a mint 635 csi in dark met blue with white leather its him who talked me into getting mine, he's owned two E30's in the past so knew how good they are and he's always been into BMW's. Im glad he did im really liking it already and i only picked it up Monday!! :D Would've loved to get a 325i but this one came up and it is only a weekend car, i paid £1700 for it and it came with all old mots, tax disc's and all the original owners manuals and booklets it came with when new, 2 keys and receipts for anything ever done to it also dating back to new 11 months mot, four months tax and half a tank of fuel, so it seemed a reasonable price but im no expert. Just hope theres no horrors hiding out of sight, looking good so far tho...

fog lights not working, may just need you to remove the double swith and clean the internals, easy to do and that fixed the problem with mine, if you dont get the tell tale light on the dash when you press the button it probably is just the switch.

really nice looking car that :)
