There should be a bar underneath on the cab.
I have a strut brace and have noticed a difference, also in an M30'd cab.
Hardtop helps too.

Back behind an M20, but now I can hear it better.

thank you all for the input.
I'll go for the strut brace first.
Is there any particular strut brace make, which will do the job best?
many thanks,
Peter.

The S shaped bar is bolted at the front of the heatshield by the gearbox and effectivly holds the shield up. It's stronger than it looks.
