I'll start... Balloon Rear tyres, spaced out as far as you physically can take them

And raise it up a little back there if you can

... The balloon tyres... As big as possible that fit that wheel size

Body is wierd on it... battery tray, rear light surrounds and inner arches front and rear (in the boot) are mint.
It's been (crudely) welded on the sills and has a patch on the floorpan, the passenger door bottom is shot, as are the front wing bottoms, but the only thing worrying me is inside the front of the rear wheelarches is holed, directly behind the rear wing - hard job to patch?
Will it pass an MoT with holes in the wing?

You can use Gaffer tape to get a holy wing through the MOT.
Probably not that hard a job to patch the end of the sill.

It would be, yes - unless you can cunningly disguise it with fibreglass and underseal, with a bit of mud thrown on (not that I advocate such bodgery).

Looks ripe for some Baja action with the ride height. Same as my chromie was when I got it.

I bet there pretty comfy with that ride height, bombing over speed humps etc....
I say bodge it and rat it.

Is it going to be worth a restoration? If it has some credentials (I see it is on a A plate, gotta be one of the first Baur E30 conversions, maybe?) then restore it. It would be a shame if it has some and then it gets nearly murdered, like Duke 137's Henna red No 45. If it isn't then slap a couple of bits of zanussi on it and blast it, then explode it/serve it on to a stancecock/drop it off a bridge/weigh it in and send it to China/whatever you want.

Real oem indicates it is an October 1983 car, is that early for a rhd baur? but you're right, a restoration is psychotic paedo territory.

I don't have any October '83, Burgundred Baur's in the productionlist. Could you give me the VIN or Baur-number of your car?

bumpers are worth a few bob if there in good condition....
You should turn it into an e30zone restoration, ask people to help with fixing it or to contribute any old tat they dont want or need anymore to help restore your car then flog it and donate the money to the zone.

There's a couple of salvagable sections of the bumpers but they're not mint

If you get the VIN or Baur number to Baurtje he will be able to give you more info on the car if you are interested.

All I've have time to do since I picked this up is swap the wheels for some 17" OZ racing exclusives and fit a new set of black kidney grills. So, it's just not going to get the attention it needs being a third car and I'm throwing in the towel.
It's on eBay no reserve but if a zoner wants it I'll come to a very fair deal, just want the space back now!

There's some moderate frag on it for the hawks out there, but give me a call if this is what you have in mind and you want the condition of anything verifying 07590274099. A welder here asked for £200 to patch it through the MoT from a brief look underneath I think it would need a front bush (not much play and the car drives fine but it looks perished) and might pick up an advisory on brake lines. But I've not put it in for a test.
