hi all. i i've just fitted cruise control to the new beast. it's all in and together but i can't find the input for the brake switch. ithe car i took it from had a wire scotchlocked to one of the brake swicth wires. now i've fitted it i can't find it anywhere. the only wire i've got left is a blue/brown flat female blade connector on the n/s behind the glovebox.. is this it? where does it go? can anyone help?
the new thing is getting close now. it's looking so much like my old one it's getting quite scary now!

Morning!
No experience of cruise control, but from my wiring diagrams:
In the loom between the cruise ECU and the cruise control motor there should be a green/red wire with another green/red wire branching off it from a soldered joint. This wire should go to a clutch switch (or a linked over socket on an auto), and from there another green/red goes to the green red wire on your brake light switch.
Only blue/brown wire I can see goes from pin 3 of thr cruise ECU to the instrument cluster.

There is no wiring for the brake pedal from the cruise loom, I assume it takes the feed from elsewhere, only wiring to the pedal is for the clutch.

sussed this now. it takes the input from the top pin of the connector with 2 wires where it plugs in to the accesories block behind the glovebox. (green/red wire as brian correctly identifyed) christ knows what the left over wire does but obviously not needed. thanks :thumb:
