Because when I'm driving it I temporarily forget about the ££££'s its cost so far!
Plus the old car smell when you first get in it is pretty cool

Because I can feel the road vibrating through the steering wheel
Because changing gear feels like reloading a WWI rifle
Because driving through tunnels makes me look like the Cheshire Cat
Because whenever I park it people come up to me and ask "wow, nice car, what engine?"
Because it winds up the managers at work when I tell them I also have a BMW
Because I love the Russian-roulette feeling of never knowing when it's going to break down
Because I love having a car that can't lose any more of its value
Because driving a car made after 1995 feels like wearing three condoms at once
Because when I drive the road from Warsaw to Germany, I want to drive the E30 in an E30.

Because it is subtle, well made, right wheel drive, classicaly good looking, and it does most things well.
Its not covered in stickers, and dosen't sound like an elephant with dysentery.
These are just some of the things I like about my car.

How do you pronounce 'either'? I say 'either', but some say 'either'. Either is correct.

I take it you are still seeking some positive responses and are still hacked off with your recent purchase?

I'm kind of defeating the purpose here but when that tit is posting, just ignore him. He wants a reaction and if he gets none, I'll guarantee he'll crawl back under the rock he came from.
Perhaps more elegantly put than Peter's point, but in essence, exactly the same sentiment.

Quicker for you to lock the thread. As pete says, it's rather tiresome.Topblag wrote:I'm kind of defeating the purpose here but when that tit is posting, just ignore him. He wants a reaction and if he gets none, I'll guarantee he'll crawl back under the rock he came from.

I'd rather ban the troll, given that although the intent of the thread was probably to create troll opportunities, grrrmachine's post is a cracker and I think it'll kick off a decent debate.
Remove the problem at source I say, take the roots of the problem out to avoid reoccurence.

Sorry Topblag, I thought you were one of the high lords...! I agree ban would be even easier. The smile it gives me when it drives soo nice!
The old skool ness of it and how it shows up newer cars.
I love hearing the roar and bellow of the mighty 6 pot in a tunnel.
And i love the respect/ light flash / thumbs up from fellow e30 drivers!
Oh and i just love the way they look!
