Guy i know this is roughly covered in other threads but would appreciate a quick informative reply.

im doing the non vanos m50 2.5 conversion for a friend(also a forum member) and hoping to do the transplant this weekend.

Mechanic and working for a factors so parts is not a major issue.
but my question is why the suggested mounts why can you not use the e36 mounts? whats the difference?

can they be used temp to mock up the engine bay?

would really appreciate a quick reply chaps. camera is charged for the weekend ill get perry to pop a thread up

Ordered e28 m5 mounts today be here tomorrow. so hoping to do the lump transplant sunday.

Once its in ill start fabricating the exhaust and loom.
