Cooling system

I'm hopping to get the engine fired/running in a few weeks and want everything mocked up working before I move it to the project shell when it's back from the painter.

Need to figure out this cooling system and what hoses/pipes I'm going to need to get it all up and running. Because I like to do things differently my setup isn't 100% original

I'm using a M3 rad which is wider than the standard one, it doesn't have the expansion tank on it (leading to other problems...) instead more width. Which hoses have you used for the top and bottom rad to stat housing? I'm assuming the bottom one on my rad is the same, just the top one being further out.

I'm using a expansion bottle which I want to mount where the M3 normally has it, on the batt tray, and to get the coolant there I got a euro M3 pipe that routes around the engine (no10 2nd image below).

Looking at both the M52 has way more piping

Am I right in thinking hose #5 in both images and hose #7 & #13 are the same in both setups?
Hoses #13 & #14 can be deleted as they serve the TB?
Hose #8 from the M52 becomes hose #14 on the M3

And so I will have to use the hoses #5 & #13 from the M3 rather than the M52 ones? Also, are they dealer only or where can you get these for reasonable money?

I piped up my track car like this a few weeks ago, need to sort out the pics and get them posted.
In short you need an M3 top hose, the LHD M3 steel pipe wont fit up to the back of your M52 waterpump, I moddified an M52 steel pipe with a length of bent tube round the back of the engine. You will struggle to get it to fit with the bulkhead/trans tunnel sound deadening in place though.

Will it not fit at all or just be a struggle to fit it with the engine in place. By top hose you mean the rad one? Any idea what to use for the bottom one?
