Started my car at work today, no problem,
Went out to it 2 hours later and it's as if the steering lock won't disengage,
The key turns a tiny bit but that's it, it will not free off the steering wheel,
Any ideas or anyone come across this before ??

You have tried rocking the steery wheel whilst turning the key?

WD40, in behind the top of the steering wheel where it joins the shroud, best of luck.

Can anyone suggest how to test if the boot lights are staying on with the boot shut?

Thanks very much,
Brilliant, WD40 worked,
I'll strip it down at a later stage & lubricate properly but at least I'm mobile again,
(Also thought I'd put some actually into the lock, the sh*t that came out of it was amazing !!)
:D :D
